We hired Ms. Dawson to conduct the January installment of our monthly lecture series which we host at our historic house museum in Beaumont, Texas. Free and open to the public, the McFaddin-Ward House Lecture Series is intimate and popular.  JoAnn's "Bed, Breakfast, and Beyond" lecture did not disappoint. She talked about her experiences as an actress, pet handler, and owner of an unusual bed and breakfast and about her philosophy on life. Ms. Dawson's speaking style is intelligent and interesting; her stories are very relatable and salt-of-the-earth. Our audience loved her.
