A SAG Member since 1991, JoAnn (SAG/AFTRA name Jodi) has held principal acting roles in The Sixth Sense and 12 Monkeys, along with smaller roles in a wide variety of films including  Ladder 49, For Richer or Poorer, and Oprah Winfrey's Beloved. She currently has the role of Karen Mifflin in the upcoming Hope's Legacy.

In addition to acting, JoAnn acts as an animal wrangler providing picture-ready horses, driving rigs, dogs, and farm animals for film, print and TV.   Her animals have been cast in numerous projects including Prince Among Slaves (PBS), Discovery Channel's Weapon Masters,  Duck Dynasty, House of Cards, Culling Hens, and numerous TV commercials including Bud Light, as well as Marie Claire, Yellowbook, NAACP and Democratic National Convention ads. Fairwinds Farm has also served as a farm location for various films, including  Hope's Legacy.
